Most of the people use two terms “web designer” & “web developer”, but they really do have two different meanings. You need to know the difference between these two terms and proficiency that comes from that. While the terms website designer & website developer are often used interchangeably.

A web designer is someone who is both creative and technically inclined, and uses both these attributes to build or redesign websites. The web designer has the ability to understand what is needed to make a website functional and easy to use, but at the same time make it exquisite appealing to the user.

A web developer:
A web developer is a programmer who specializes in, or is specifically engaged in, the development of World Wide Web applications, or distributed network applications that are run over Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP )from a web server to a web browser.
Creates the inner workings of a website
Is competent in programming languages (PHP, .NET,java, android)
Develops the user interface
Implement logic, linear thinking, technical
Hands-on coding experience is required
